President's Letter
Welcome to Kappa Alpha Theta at the University of South Dakota! Being a member of Kappa Alpha Theta has been, and continues to be, one of the most enriching and rewarding experiences of collegiate women all over the world for over a hundred years.
We, as sisters here at the Alpha Rho chapter, pride ourselves with holding a reputation for receiving top scholarship on the USD campus for more than 18 years.. As we do strongly uphold academics, as well as service and leadership throughout campus and the community, we like to adhere to the mantra of “work hard; play hard,” as we fill the gaps with a jam-packed social schedule.
As president of the Alpha Rho chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta, I am honored to represent such amazingly talented women. I am so proud to say I am a Theta, especially here at the University of South Dakota, where we have stood on a long-standing legacy and tradition of excellence in womanhood as we strive towards social, intellectual, and moral growth.
